Macau Yacht Sailing Academy

Macau Yacht Sailing Academy provides adult and youth certified sailing courses on both keelboats and dinghies. Since 2008, MYSA, the vision of master yachtsman Jon Galbraith, has revived sailing in Macau, growing both their assets and their student base.  MYSA's goal is not only to teach sailing, but to broaden their young sailors outlook and to encourage integration with young sailors Internationally.  This is achieved through both theorecitical and practical sailing training in Macau and International sailing camps.

• Adult Keelboat Sailing Courses

  Join Macau Yacht Sailing Academy's certified 'Competent Crew Course' and/or a 'Day Skipper Course' and learn to sail on one of our three well equipped keelboats! Theory lessons are from 7pm to 9pm on Thursday evenings and practical sailing is held on Sundays from 10am to 5pm.

• Youth Keelboat Sailing Courses

  Sailing is fun! Join our certified youth sailing program, from 'Start Yachting' all the way through to 'Day Skipper Course' and learn to sail on a 27 ft yacht! Theory lessons are held twice a week after school, from 3.30pm to 4.30pm and practical sailing is held on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.

• Dinghy Sailing Courses

  Both adults and youths are welcome to join us over two weekends at Hac Sa beach, between 10am and 4pm, both Saturday and Sunday and discover how much fun dinghy sailing is! We have a range of dinghies, including TOPPER, TOPAZ DUO, 29er Skiff ans 59er Skiff sailing dinghies.

• Dinghy Club Membership

  Those sailors who have qualified as Competent Crew or who have successfully completed our Dinghy Sailing Course may join our exclusive Dinghy Sailing Club, allowing them to sail our dinghies at Hac Sa beach.  MYSA Dighy Sailing Club is open to both children and adult members.

• Keelboat Day Sailing

  If you don't want to learn to sail, but would like to enjoy a relaxing day sailing with family and friends, to the local islands for a barbeque or picnic, charter a yacht and skipper. Our yachts have toilets, bunks, cooking facilities and a cold box with ice.
